Keyword SEO: Google AdWords: Keyword Tool External – Importance of Keywords for SEO

Recently a reader has asked me a question about the importance of keywords.

Yet there is one thing that I need to ask you is relating to keywords( Remember U recommended me the S/W keyword elite 2.0), How important are keywords in blogs/websites and how to choose the right set of  keywords for a website. I am asking this question because i am about to launch a website and have, to be very honest not at all focused on keywords!!

Well, let me tell you in the layman’s language that what the keywords are and why they are so much important? Well, see in simple language, Internet is the ocean. It’s the Virtual library of the world and content from every Niche is distributed all around the web.

Now, Keywords means what actually a visitor type in the google search box. This is very important because for some keywords millions of people are searching. Say for example, “Insurance Quote”.

“Insurance Quote” is the keyword. Now, if you are running an Insurance website and it does not has a post containing this keyword, How will Google know that what your site basically about? Unless you make a post like “Compare Insurance Quotes”, “Best Insurance Quotes” or “Tips to find Best Insurance Quotes”, Google will never Index your pages in its index and send organic (Search Engine) traffic towards your site.

You Must have typed some keyword in Google search box. Now, If I had never written a post having that keyword on this blog than probably you will never know about this blog and we will never be in touch…!!!!

Anyway, Let’s take it differently. Take the example of this post. What is the title of this post? It’s starting from “Keyword SEO”. Why?…. Because “Keyword SEO” itself is a keyword. What is the subtitle? Well, it contains “Importance of Keywords for SEO”. Well, again it’s a keyword. It’s known as long trail keyword.

Right now I am creating such a great information rich post for you. Now, what is the meaning of creating such a great post if hundreds of other people having the same query about Keywords just like you around the world can’t reach to this post via Google?

This can be only possible by analyzing keywords and sprinkling the keywords in every post.

Now, if you don’t have focused on Keywords than don’t worry. First of all you launch your website and later on you start focusing on the keywords. There is nothing wrong in it. In fact, I had never focused on keywords for the first 6 months of my blogging. And still today this Blog is an Authority Blog in India.

But Keywords are important for SEO. So I think you should focus on it also…!!!!
