Biography: Larry Ellison -

Lawrence Joseph "Larry" Ellison (born August 17, 1944) is an American entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Oracle Corporation, a major enterprise software company. He is currently listed on the Forbes list of billionaires as the fourth richest person in the world (as of September 30, 2009). Ellison is the third richest American, with an estimated net worth of US $27 billion. Ellison owns 22.59% of Oracle Corporation that is worth between 20 and 25 billion US dollars.

Larry Ellison is a drop out Billionaire. He was a bright student but he was highly inattentive.

Ellison was a bright but inattentive student. He left the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at the end of his second year, after not taking his final exams because his adoptive mother had just died. After spending a summer in Northern California where he lived with his friend Chuck Weiss, he attended the University of Chicago for one term, where he first encountered computer designing. At 20 years of age, he moved to northern California permanently.

Thus, Larry was a College drop out but still he build a Billion dollar Business – ORACE in which today millions of people want to Invest. What this shows? Well, this shows that, our education system has nothing to do with your financial success.

It doesn’t require higher educational degrees to become a billionaire or make a fortune in your life. There is no connection between your Educational status and your financial success.

There are lots of Billionaire like Larry in this world who are high school or college drop outs and still they developed a Billion dollar businesses. Thus, this shows that, Education system is no longer effective to ensure any kind of financial success in your life.

    well I don't think an English course could hurt... no one is going to take you seriously as a professional if you don't even proofread your blogs... rough draft, revise, proof read... you learn it in school....it does help you from coming off like an idiot. just a thought
