Make Money Video Blog: How to Make Money with Video Blog?

Video Blogs are the great ways to communicate and interact with your readers. This is because you simply make a video explaining something great in your Niche, upload that Video on YouTube or on your own server and than post it on your Blog.

Videos increase the brand value of your blog. This is because the visitors will have a trust in your brand. Because they will think that, you are really making an effort to convince and explain them the various things in your Niche. Here are the few possible ways to make money with Videos on your Blog.

01) Advertisement -

This is the traditional way of making money. You simply upload and publish a video on your blog post and put AdSense adds surrounding it. So whenever a visitor will view or click on those adds, you will get paid.

But well, Here is a trap. YouTube itself doesn’t make any money from its lots of videos. Last year YouTube has made $ 150 Million loss to Google. This is because the load on servers is very high when you upload a video on your or YouTube’s Server and in comparison to that, the cost of making videos is more.

So Advertisement is not the good way of making money from your Video Blog. Rather than that, it is advisable to publish the text content (Articles) on your blog and make good money from it.

02) Sponsorship -

The another way of making money from Videos is that, You find a Sponsor in your Niche and make a video for that sponsor. Say for Example if you run a Finance Blog than simply find out some Mutual Fund company to sponsor you and you make the video series about “Principles of Mutual Funds Investing” or “How to Invest in Mutual Funds” or something like that.

But again here the problem is that, You will get paid once only for your great hard work. The only problem with this strategy is that, this is not the passive income stream like adsense where you will make money from your text content for the years and decades to come. Here you make a great video for your sponsor and get paid once and after that you have to make another great video for another sponsor or the same sponsor to make more money from it.

Now, This is a kind of Active Income and that’s why I don’t like it.

03) Increase the Brand Value -

Alternatively what you can do is, You run a regular blog on which you mainly post a text content and in between you post your own videos uploaded on YouTube server.

This is I think the only viable option to make money from Videos. Because here you won’t make any direct money from your videos that you post on your Blog. You will make money from your Text content only via AdSense which is fairly passive stream of income.

But posting videos on your blog will definitely increase the brand value of your blog. And the visitors will remember your blog over the other blogs in the same Niche. And this Brand value will help you to make visitors keep visiting again and again on your website and thus more advertisement revenue, more affiliate marketing revenue and more any other kind of revenues.

So I think if you want to turn your Blog into an Authority Blog than, you should add Videos on your blog regularly. But you should not think of making money directly from it rather than you should use the videos to increase the brand value of your Blog.
